Our mission is to empower public health professionals, students, and communities across Canada by providing free workshops, accessible resources, and opportunities for meaningful connection. We strive to make public health education and professional growth accessible to all, regardless of background, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute to and benefit from a stronger public health system.

We envision a Canada where public health knowledge is accessible to all, where diverse voices are represented in the health sector, and where individuals are equipped with the tools, skills, and connections needed to improve health outcomes for their communities. By bridging the gaps in access and opportunity, we aim to strengthen the public health system and create a healthier future for everyone.
Meet our founder, Carly La Berge
Hello! I’m Carly La Berge, a public health professional passionate about mentorship and the vast (and sometimes confusing!) field of public health. My journey has been anything but straightforward, which is why I value mentorship so much.
When I started my MPH, I had no idea what public health opportunities existed. Thanks to mentors who guided me and shared their experiences, I discovered a career path I hadn’t imagined. Mentorship helped me navigate diverse opportunities, from policy advocacy to community health.
That’s why I founded The Canadian Public Health Hub—to provide the guidance and community support I wish I had. My goal is to make public health accessible and help others find their own path in this dynamic field.
